It's a sloppy attempt though and Beef jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Beef is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Beef advances position into side control! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB2# Beef tries for a kimura but Adefemi is defending well. Beef controlling the position. #T1##SUB2# Beef thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Adefemi is trying to improve his position. Adefemi is trying to escape the position but Beef is controlling the position. #SUB2# Beef is trying to get an arm triangle but Adefemi is defending well. #T2##SUB2# Beef has hold of Adefemi's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Adefemi tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Beef cranks the arm and Adefemi screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Adefemi, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McCloud tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Beef swivels and escapes. As McCloud looks to move away, Beef throws a big counter combo but McCloud just gets out of the way. No luck with that takedown attempt from McCloud. McCloud misses with a takedown attempt letting Beef counter with a right hand. #CUT#It looks like Alex McCloud has been cut. Steve Beef has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alex McCloud. McCloud misses with a takedown attempt and Beef counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. McCloud with a poor takedown and Beef counters with a lovely straight right hand! McCloud shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. McCloud shoots and misses and Beef counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McCloud tries for a takedown but Beef circles away easily and Beef counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. McCloud looks winded! McCloud with a poor takedown and Beef counters with a straight punch to the midsection. McCloud shoots and misses and Beef counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. McCloud looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.#T1# McCloud misses with a takedown attempt and Beef counters with a lovely shot to the body. McCloud shoots and misses and Beef connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.#ROC#McCloud is rocked! McCloud has his takedown stuffed and Beef counters with a deadly accurate combination that rocks McCloud badly! He tries to strike back but Beef puts an end to that with another precision combo that knocks McCloud out cold! Oh man, McCloud will never hear the end of this one!

#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! John pulls out of a head kick attempt.
John stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and John wants it to stay on the feet. John lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. John throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Beef feints the counter takedown. Beef blocks a head kick by John.
Beef shoots in and drives through. John sprawls well. John throws a head kick that misses. #TD2# Beef decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.#SUB2# Beef is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. John doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Beef. John is trying to stand.
#SUB2# Beef looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

#SUB2# Beef is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! John is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

Beef tries for a takedown but Kelce circles away easily and Kelce counters with a right hand to the body. #TD# Beef closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. #SUB# Beef is looking for a kimura but Kelce is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Beef to get the leverage. Kelce is doing well to control the position and prevent Beef from advancing to side control. Kelce is trying to control but can't.
Beef is pressing down on Kelce's thigh, looking to free his foot. Kelce is holding on for now. #SUB# Beef is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Kelce sees it coming and defends easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kelce trying to control from the bottom.

Beef gets slowly back to his feet. Despite the aggression on Kelce's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.#T4# The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Beef misses with a takedown and Kelce counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. And that's the end of the fight! Travis Kelce comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Kelce has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. Beef sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Lord's guard. #SUB2# Beef is looking for a kimura but Lord is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Beef to get the leverage. Well, if Beef is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
