#CUT2#It looks like Alen Sola has been cut. Sola misses with a right hand and Okafor cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Okafor connects with a good right hand that stumbles Sola. Sola circles away out of range and recomposes himself. A lazy left from Okafor finds it's target. Okafor dips to his left and cracks Sola with an uppercut! Okafor fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Sola throws a right and a left that Okafor avoids nicely. #T1# BAM! Okafor delivers a spinning backfist that drops Sola like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!

Sola avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Page fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Sola avoids it really well and circles away. Sola looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Sola is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sola swats away the attempt to clinch by Page. Sola appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Sola lands a jab to Page's midsection.#T1# Sola slips under a jab from Page. It seemed like Sola was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Page throws a leg kick and Sola counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Sola ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Sola lands a head shot. Sola connects with a single shot there. Page scores with a three punch combo!

Page rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Sola finish him?!

#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway!#KD# Oooooh!!! Steed has knocked Sola down with a huge combo! Steed steps away and waves a wobbly Sola back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!#CUT#It looks like Alen Sola has been cut. Sola leaves Steed with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Steed changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sola tries to avoid it but Steed manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sola to the ground. Sola escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. A nice side step and Sola releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Steed looks to land a body kick but Sola moved away. Sola throws out a counter right but Steed avoids it with no problem.#TD# Steed looking to score a takedown here. Sola is defending well but Steed drives through and ends up in Sola's guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Steed looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Steed prevents Sola from getting back to his feet. #T1# Steed pushes down on Sola's leg and manages to get into half guard. Sola pushes Steed off looking to stand but Steed dives back in and keeps control.
Sola tries to kick Steed off in order to stand up. Steed Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. Sola tries to escape but Steed is in control. Steed is looking to take a break and control but Sola is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Steed tries to advance to mount but can't. #T2# A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Steed advances nicely into full mount. Steed content just to control the position here. Sola is trying to stand but he's just given Steed his back. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#SUB# Steed looking for the choke but no joy. Sola lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Steed up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Sola from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Steed's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

Sola pushes down on Steed's head and hops out. Sola is looking to counter punch. Steed misses with a takedown and Sola counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Alen Sola has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tubby Steed. A head kick misses from Steed. Sola is looking to counter punch.#CL2# Steed moves into range and clinches up with Sola. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. #R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sunday tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Sola manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Horrible takedown attempt by Sunday or perhaps it was just good defense by Sola, which made it look bad. Sola throwing a counter right hand but Sunday manages to avoid it. Sunday tries to clinch but fails miserably and Sola counters with a straight right hand.#CL2# Sunday has taken the fight to the clinch.

Nice body punch from Sola. Sunday lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
