Garcia really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kondo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Garcia looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Smith!
Smith tries to improve position but can't.
Smith striking from the bottom but nothing landed.
Smith is looking to regain half guard here but Garcia keeps moving and retains side control.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Smith can do anything to dispel that myth.
Garcia connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Smith some visible discomfort.
Garcia wants to stand but Smith is controlling his arm.
Garcia misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Smith creates some space for himself and unloads with a monster right hand! That one landed with a sickening thud - Garcia is out cold and this one is all over! Smith climbs onto the cage to celebrate with his corner!! He's shouting something into the camera but he's still got his mouthpiece in so God knows what he's actually saying.
