#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway!#CL# Last pushes Kerel up against the cage in a clinch. Last comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. #CUT#It looks like Karel Kerel has been cut.#TD2# Kerel pulls guard effortlessly. Kerel is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Last sitting in guard here, content to control. #SUB2# Kerel had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Last defends it easily. Kerel is trying to control the position but Last postures up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB2# Kerel throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
#SUB2# Kerel is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Last frees his head nicely. Oh but Kerel has switched to an armbar! Last is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!

#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway!#CL2# Last closes the distance and pushes Genie back into the cage. Last scores with a knee to the head.
#CUT2#It looks like Sky Genie has been cut. Genie misses with a knee strike.
Last throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Last lands a body punch. Genie is breathing heavily. Last with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Genie takes a knee right on the jaw!
#ROC2#Genie is rocked! Last jerks Genie's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Genie drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Last goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Last because Genie was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knee). Last Last! A relieved looking Last Last thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it. |

#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Last misses with a looping right. Bruce misses with the combination.
Last throws a series of punches but Bruce moves out of range. Bruce uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Last.
Bruce tries to close the distance and clinch up but Last swats him away and circles back towards the center. #KD# Last cracks Bruce with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Last has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Bruce to stand back up!#CUT#It looks like Bobby Bruce has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!#CL# Last clinches up against the cage. Last gets through Bruce's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Bruce takes a knee to the side of the body. A quick uppercut on the inside from Last. Last utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. Bruce looks winded! A nice glancing elbow lands by Last. #CUT#That has opened up Bobby Bruce's cut even more.#KD# Last drops Bruce with a big knee straight up the middle! Bruce is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet! #ROC#Bruce is rocked! Bruce drops his hands momentarily. Last doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Bruce staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Bruce doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Last Last! After winning the bout, Last Last thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility. |
