First stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Achilles is looking for the KO!#ROC#First is rocked!#CUT#It looks like First First has been cut. First tries to clinch but Achilles moves away and Achilles counters with a powerful cross that connects right on the chin and the lights go out! A massive one punch knock out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Mighty Achilles! Mighty Achilles decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well. |

#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stevenson tries to close the distance and clinch up but First swats him away and circles back towards the center. #TD2# First gets a takedown into half guard. First working over Stevenson with some ground and pound. Stevenson looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Stevenson is looking to control First's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Stevenson avoid being mounted? First working Stevenson over with strikes. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ground and pound from First. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. First works his foot free and advances to mount. First scores with a couple of good head shots there.
#T1# First loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Stevenson scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from First land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. First stands and salutes the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). First First! An out of breath First First thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career. |
