#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McGee fails with the takedown#KD# and Barboozer counters with a leg kick then a big left hand that sends McGee down! Barboozer is looking to finish but McGee is intelligently defending himself. #ROC#McGee is rocked!#SU# Barboozer gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Barboozer throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
McGee is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Barboozer looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Barboozer backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks McGee's temple! It sends McGee violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Barboozer celebrates and the doctors try to help McGee!

#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McGee tries to move into range but Meister moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Meister wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Meister uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before McGee has time to react. McGee moves forwards but Meister connects with a nice, crisp jab. McGee takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. McGee shoots for a takedown but Meister saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Meister lands with a nice body punch. McGee fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Meister avoids it really well and circles away. McGee looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Meister jabs at McGee's body. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! McGee takes a shot right to the bread basket. Meister scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Meister connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. McGee with a poor takedown and Meister counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pappy McGee. That's going to take a lot out of him.#T1# Meister lands with a nice body punch. A nice combination there by Meister.
Sean Meister seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Meister lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Good exchange - Meister coming out on top. Meister bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps McGee's head backwards. McGee shoots in but no luck this time. Sean Meister is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. McGee has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Danga de danga de dang - Meister scores with a four punch combination! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. McGee tries to clinch up but Meister circles away and keeps his distance. Meister moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. McGee has a takedown stuffed. McGee misses with a takedown and Meister counters with a lovely straight right hand!#T2# Meister throws a shot to the body.
Meister looks winded! Meister connects with a body shot. Meister lands the left hand. Meister lands a jab to the nose. McGee changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Meister tries to avoid it but McGee manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Meister to the ground. Meister escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. A little jabbing left from Meister on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Meister misses with the combination.
McGee half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. McGee shoots in for a takedown but Meister shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Meister changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. McGee goes for a double leg but Meister avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Meister continues to drive forward. McGee shoots in for a takedown but Meister shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Meister has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Meister feints a jab promting McGee to slip. Meister then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. McGee slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Meister moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.#T3# Meister looks to land a right hand but McGee moved out of range. McGee throwing a counter right hand but Meister manages to avoid it. Meister leaves McGee with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Meister misses with a wild body shot. McGee attempts a counter takedown but Meister avoids it well and moves away.#TD# McGee shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Meister's guard. Meister wants to get back to his feet but McGee passes into half guard.

#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Filipp throws a right and a left that McGee avoids nicely. McGee changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.#CL2# Filipp moves into the clinch.#TD2# Filipp has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics McGee uses from the top position. McGee passes Filipp's right leg, so he's now in half guard. #SUB# McGee wants to work for an arm triangle but Filipp is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Filipp is looking for a sweep. McGee is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. McGee is trying to control the action in half guard but Filipp is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. #SUB# McGee is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Filipp is trying to maintain the position but McGee is very close to passing his half guard.#T1# Filipp is looking to improve his position.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Filipp can do anything to dispel that myth. Filipp wants to get back to his feet. McGee thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Filipp's head. #SUB2# Filipp looking for submissions from an awkward position here. McGee prevents Filipp from improving his position.#T2# A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. McGee trying to control from half guard but Filipp is working away. #SU# McGee stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. #TD2# Filipp shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Filipp content to control rather than advance. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. McGee flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
#T3# McGee is pressing down on Filipp's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. McGee controls Filipp momentarily but Filipp frees himself. McGee can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Filipp controls the pace. Filipp connects with a couple of short punches.#T4# The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Filipp trying to control but McGee is working from the bottom. Filipp looking to sit in guard and control but McGee gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. #REVR# Filipp really doesn't want to stay on the ground with McGee. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Filipp has momentary wrist control but McGee slips an elbow through the middle. McGee throwing strikes but missing. McGee working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Filipp's head. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!#SUB2# Filipp looking for submissions from the bottom but instead McGee passes into half guard.
McGee wants to lay and pray for a moment but Filipp keeps working. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway!#KD2# Luck lands a left and a right that send McGee crashing to the mat, dazed. Luck thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!#ROC2#McGee is rocked!#CUT2#It looks like Pappy McGee has been cut. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from McGee. Luck is looking for the big counter here. Oh McGee is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!#TD# McGee scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. McGee seems to have got his legs back now. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! McGee working over Luck with some ground and pound. Luck looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. McGee content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Luck taking some punishment here, with McGee in his half guard. McGee seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. #SUB# McGee is looking for a kimura but Luck is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for McGee to get the leverage. #T1# Luck looks like he's trying to stand up.
