Sanford has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Totters is landing a low percentage of strikes.#TD# Totters throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Sanford was covering up waiting for the punch and Totters finishes the takedown easily into guard. Totters throws a big right hand that misses. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Filayang with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. #R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Totters takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Totters fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Chan thuds his right hand into Totters's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Chan scores with a punch to the head. Chan lands a head kick. Totters smiles back at him and beckons him forward. #CUT#It looks like Mark Totters has been cut. Chan stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Nice cross by Chan. Totters walks straight into a right hand from Chan - that's dropped him! Chan jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Totters from any more punishment! Totters complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
