#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Okafor darts in looking for a takedown but Cacho gets double underhooks and turns Okafor into the cage. Cacho dips to his left and cracks Okafor with an uppercut! Cacho closes the distance and clinches up with Okafor, looking for a takedown. Cacho pushes Okafor against the cage but Okafor circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Okafor defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Cacho. It looked like Okafor wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Cacho shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Okafor pinned against the cage. Okafor gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Okafor swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Mike Okafor has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nufro Cacho.#TD2# Cacho drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB2# Cacho working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Okafor is trying to improve his position.#T1# We've been hearing good reports from Okafor's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Cacho has knee on belly and moves into mount. Okafor can't escape the position.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!#SUB2# Okafor got a little sloppy there for a moment and Cacho has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Okafor has managed to get both his arms back between Cacho's legs - danger averted. Okafor cracks Cacho with a solid left hand. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Okafor landing some decent shots from guard. Okafor postures up and lands a big shot to Cacho's brow. Okafor is working Cacho over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Okafor lands a couple of elbows. Okafor pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Cacho is keeping the position for now. #T3##SUB2# Cacho is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Okafor forces his way into half guard. Cacho tries to roll over but Okafor keeps him under control. Cacho is not content to let Okafor control the position.#T4# Okafor lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Cacho taking some punishment here, with Okafor in his half guard. Cacho is looking to control Okafor's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Cacho avoid being mounted? Okafor has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Okafor drops an elbow to the side of Cacho's head. Cacho gets back to full guard.
Cacho looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Okafor trying to control the position from guard on top but Cacho is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Cacho is on top in guard.
#REVB##SUB2# Cacho thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Mike Okafor will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.#R2# Okafor displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Cacho. Cacho shoots for a takedown but Okafor saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.#TD2# Cacho scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. #SUB2# Cacho wants to work for an arm triangle but Okafor is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Okafor wants to get back to full guard. Okafor makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Okafor. Okafor is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. #REVR# We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cacho is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Okafor's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Okafor's back! Okafor manages to reverse the position and now he's in Cacho's guard. Nice work there by Okafor.

Okafor wants to control from the top but Cacho keeps moving. #SUB2# Cacho has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Okafor can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Okafor won't allow Cacho to sweep him here. Okafor chips away with some ground and pound. Okafor stands up over Cacho, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Okafor chips away with some ground and pound. Okafor is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Okafor scoring with some ground and pound. Okafor content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. #T2##SUB2# Cacho isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Okafor stacks Cacho on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Okafor! Cacho is not content to let Okafor control the position. Cacho tries to get back to half guard but can't. Okafor lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Cacho down.
Okafor moves into full mount! The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Okafor cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
#T3# Cacho tries to get back to half guard but can't. Cacho in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Cacho manages to regain half guard. Good work. Okafor looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Okafor is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Cacho can do to turn this around? Cacho is looking for a sweep. Okafor is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Okafor working Cacho over with strikes. Cacho regains full guard. Nicely done. Cacho is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.#SUB2# Okafor avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Cacho is breathing heavily. Okafor lands a couple of decent looking shots.#T4# Okafor trying to control but Cacho is working from the bottom. Okafor lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.#ROC#Cacho is rocked! Okafor landing with the ground and pound. Cacho is still in real trouble! Can Okafor finish him? Okafor advances to half guard. Okafor scores with a big shot! Cacho's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Cacho! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!

#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cacho ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Godoi moves away. Godoi has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Cacho takes a body punch but keeps moving. Cacho misses with a takedown enabling Godoi to counter with a crisp jab. Godoi throws the left hand but Cacho avoids the punch easily. Godoi throws a big shot that misses. Cacho slips a straight right by Godoi. Cacho feinted with a counter takedown. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Cacho. A little jabbing left from Godoi on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Cacho has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Island Sparring in the buildup to the fight. Godoi lands a body shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cacho shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Godoi counters with a left to the body. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nufro Cacho. That's going to take a lot out of him. Godoi lands with a shot to the body. #T1# A big right from Godoi misses. Godoi throws a hook to the side of Cacho's head but Cacho sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Godoi ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Cacho slips under a jab. Cacho has a takedown stuffed. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Godoi! But no joy. Godoi misses with a wild body shot. #TD# Cacho feints and as Godoi raises his hands in defense, Cacho changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. #T3# Cacho passes easily into side control. Nice work. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Godoi can do anything to dispel that myth. Cacho advances nicely into full mount. Godoi keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Cacho wants to control the pace but Godoi is squirming around nicely. Godoi tries to get back to half guard but can't. #T4# Cacho moves to the back. Godoi is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. #SUB# Cacho has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Godoi! Can he survive? No! He's out! Cacho gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.

#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Smoker fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Cacho throwing a counter right hand but Smoker manages to avoid it. Cacho shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Smoker as he jumps to the side. Smoker throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Cacho's waist but Cacho gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Smoker off to one side. Cacho swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Cacho shoots for a takedown but Smoker saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Smoker darts in looking for a takedown but Cacho gets double underhooks and turns Smoker into the cage. Nufro Cacho has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Raw Smoker. Smoker keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Smoker tries to counter by closing the distance. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Cacho is defended easily by Smoker. Smoker tries to counter with a clinch but Cacho shakes him off and moves away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Smoker shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Cacho shoots for a takedown but Smoker saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Smoker goes for a double leg but Cacho avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Cacho continues to drive forward.#T1# Cacho fails with a takedown attempt.#TD2# Smoker shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Smoker was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Cacho tries to get back to half guard but can't. Cacho is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Cacho is looking for a sweep. Smoker is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Cacho has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Smoker seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Cacho does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#SUB2# Smoker looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Possibly, maybe, no Smoker has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Cacho tries to improve position but can't. Cacho gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Cacho wants to get back to full guard.#SUB# Cacho looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Smoker pushes past his half guard into mount! #SUB2# Smoker is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Cacho is forced to tap! Great finish!

#TD# Moraes gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Cacho to score an easy takedown into full guard. Moraes looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Moraes looking to control.
Cacho is pushing down on Moraes's leg trying to pass to half guard. Moraes is fighting to maintain full guard but Cacho has managed to sneak the leg through. Cacho stops Moraes from getting back to his feet.
#SUB# Cacho seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Moraes is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!

Flay loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Flay is working Cacho over from the guard. Flay seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
