#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sorensen uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Turner has time to react. A punch combination from Turner misses. Turner walks into a left hand. Left hook, right uppercut from Sorensen. Sorensen takes a shot right to the bread basket. Sorensen takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Sorensen lands with a hook. Turner tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. A looping hook to the body misses from Turner. Sorensen does a little dance to reset his feet. Ferdinand Sorensen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Turner swings and misses with a hook to the body.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Sorensen throws a series of punches but Turner moves out of range. Turner seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Turner goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
