Armstrong closes the distance and clinches up with Ferland, looking for a takedown. Armstrong pushes Ferland against the cage but Ferland circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Armstrong throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Ferland sees it coming and avoids it easily.
A nice side step and Ferland releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

Ferland is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Armstrong from any more punishment! Armstrong complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
