Ulatov trying to control from half guard but Red is working away. Red felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.#SUB# Ulatov is working for a submission here. Red changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Ferkingstad fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Red manages to avoid it. Ferkingstad clobbers Red with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. #KD# Ferkingstad cracks Red with an uppercut from hell and Red crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Ferkingstad's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
#ROC#Red is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Ferkingstad passes into half guard. Red is still in real trouble! Can Ferkingstad finish him? Ferkingstad works his foot free and advances to mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#SUB# Ferkingstad jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Red manages to avoid the submission attempt. Dos Santos darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Red on the wrong end of a nice jab.#ROC#Red is rocked! Dos Santos has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Brazilian Top Team + Ricardo Arona in the buildup to the fight.#CL# Dos Santos moves into the clinch. Red is still on wobbly legs! Can Dos Santos finish him?#TD# Dos Santos turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!#SUB# Dos Santos is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Red knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Red felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Gibbleton looks calm but he's in trouble here. Red gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Gibbleton is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Red lets go of the hold and Gibbleton can pop his arm back in it's socket.

We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Red defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Sakuraba. Red half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Red really is a fat lump. Sakuraba is trying hard to land a takedown here. Red sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Red feinted with a counter takedown. Sakuraba waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Red. Sakuraba fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Red avoids it really well and circles away. Red attempts a counter takedown but Sakuraba avoids it well and moves away. Mark Red has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dominique Sakuraba.#T1# We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sakuraba throws a poor cross that misses

Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling eachother endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive. Nice sprawl there from Red as Work shoots in. Red changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Red fails to land the takedown.#T1# Red shoots for a takedown but Work saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Work with the counter takedown but Red avoids it easily. Red shoots in but no luck this time. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mark Red. That's going to take a lot out of him. Red misses with a takedown attempt #TD2# so Work counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. #SUB# Red is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Work frees his head nicely. Oh but Red has switched to an armbar! Work is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!

Red bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Divish throws a big shot that misses. Red moves out of range of the strikes. Red feints the counter takedown. Divish looks to score with a jab to the body but Red is just out of range. And Red tries to counter it with a takedown but Divish pushes his down on his head and steps out. Jab, jab by Divish - just one landing. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Divish swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Red drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Divish defends it well. Divish looks to score with a jab to the body but Red is just out of range. Red tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.#T1# Divish scores with a hook. Divish misses with an uppercut. Red saw that one coming. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Red keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. Red trying to control but Jenkins postures up.
Red might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Red moves into full guard.
Jenkins really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Red. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.#SUB# Red working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jenkins doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jenkins manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Red keeping moving, preventing Jenkins from controlling successfully. Jenkins postures up.

Andrew scores with a kick to the midsection. Andrew throws a head kick that misses #TD# and Red counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Red works his way into side control. #ES2# Andrew throws Red to one side and escapes! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!#CL2# Andrew has closed the distance and engaged Red in a clinch.
