#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Danga de danga de dang - Hric scores with a four punch combination!#CUT#It looks like Kenta Kusunoki has been cut. Tomas Hric seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.#CL2# Kusunoki pushes Hric up against the cage in a clinch.#BC2# Kusunoki breaks the clinch.
A jab from Hric misses. Kusunoki rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hric moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Hric throws a jab when Kusunoki was well out of range.#TD2# Kusunoki closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. #ES# Hric manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Kusunoki keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Both guys are working to get underhooks. A frustrated look appears on Hric's face as he tries to break the clinch. Kusunoki's coach down at Advanced Fitness Inc. was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Kusunoki's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.#BC2# Kusunoki escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Hric misses with a combination
#TD2# and Kusunoki counters with a nice double leg into guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kusunoki accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Kusunoki prevents Hric from getting back to his feet. Kusunoki not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. #T1# Hric wants to stand and escape but Kusunoki is having none of it. Hric utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Hric keeping moving, preventing Kusunoki from controlling successfully. #REF3# The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Hric misses with a few strikes there.
Hric tests Kusunoki's chin there with a solid looking shot. A swing and a miss from Hric. Kusunoki slips under a jab from Hric. Kusunoki keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Hric. No joy there for Hric, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Kusunoki drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Hric defends it well.#T2# Kusunoki moves out of range as Hric strikes. Hric scores with a one two! Kusunoki had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Kusunoki tries to clinch there but Hric circles away.
#TD2# Kusunoki manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Hric on his heels. He'll look to pass Hric's guard now, I'm sure.#ES# Hric has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Kusunoki is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kusunoki landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Kusunoki is struggling to control the position.#BC2# Kusunoki's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Hric works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.#ROC#Kusunoki is rocked! Kusunoki backs away from a small jab... but Hric lunges forward with a huge superman punch! Kusunoki crumples to the ground as his mouth piece is sent flying! Hric with a spectacular finish!

#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kusunoki lands with a nice combination. Sharty backs away looking to recover.#CUT2#It looks like Greg Sharty has been cut. Kusunoki closes the distance and clinches up with Sharty, looking for a takedown. Kusunoki pushes Sharty against the cage but Sharty circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.#TD# Kusunoki gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Sharty to score an easy takedown into full guard. Sharty controls from within his opponent's guard. Sharty has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sharty's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.#T1# Sharty scoring with some ground and pound. Sharty's corner is telling him to maintain position. Sharty passes Kusunoki's left leg - he's now in half guard. Sharty is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Sharty lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. #T2# Sharty is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Sharty trying to control the pace. Sharty has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Sharty looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Kusunoki with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Sharty controlling the action here. Sharty prevents Kusunoki from improving his position. Sharty trying to control the pace. #T3# Sharty passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Kusunoki! Sharty controlling his opponent. Sharty lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
#SUB# Sharty jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Kusunoki manages to avoid the submission attempt. Sharty is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Kusunoki's shoulder. That is not cool. Sharty working the body and head with strikes. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sharty is staying tight to Kusunoki's torso, preventing him from escaping. #T4# Kusunoki gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Sharty sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! This is a sustained period of stalling by Sharty. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sharty's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.#R2# Kusunoki looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Sharty is fending him off so far but Kusunoki persists. Nope, Sharty circles away and we're back to standing.#TD# Kusunoki gets caught napping as Sharty dives in and scores a takedown. Kusunoki manages to retain guard. Sharty controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Sharty pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kusunoki is keeping the position for now. Sharty is stalling in the full guard. Sharty seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Kusunoki for as long as he can get away with. Sharty is pushing down on Kusunoki's leg trying to pass to half guard. Kusunoki is fighting to maintain full guard but Sharty has managed to sneak the leg through. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Sharty in particular looking to stall. Sharty continues to stall.#T1# Further stalling from Sharty. Sharty slips a nice elbow through Kusunoki's hands, connecting with Kusunoki's forehead. Sharty is taking a breather. Kusunoki says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Sharty scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Sharty slows the pace down in half guard. #T2# Sharty working Kusunoki over with strikes. Kusunoki taking some punishment here, with Sharty in his half guard. Sharty is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Kusunoki can do to turn this around? Sharty passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Kusunoki! Kusunoki is breathing heavily. Sharty content just to control the position here. Sharty scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Sharty unloading with bombs!#ROC#Kusunoki is rocked! Sharty postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Kusunoki in real trouble here! The ref calls for Kusunoki to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
