#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cruz cracks Sapp with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Cruz scores with a nice right hand.
Cruz lands with a cross. Cruz moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Sapp looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.#TD2# Sapp dives in and scores a takedown into Cruz's guard. Sapp controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Sapp trying to control the position from guard on top but Cruz is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cruz is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.#SUB2# Sapp drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Sapp jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. #SUB2# Sapp thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Sapp's corner is telling him to maintain position.#T1##SUB2# Sapp drops back looking for a leg! Cruz is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Cruz manages to kick Sapp off! Sapp jumps back into Cruz's guard. Sapp stands and throws Cruz's legs to the side, diving into side control. #SUB2# Sapp thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. #T2# Cruz is looking to regain half guard here but Sapp keeps moving and retains side control. Sapp postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Sapp connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Cruz some visible discomfort.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sapp is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Cruz's shoulder. That is not cool. #SUB2# Sapp working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Cruz is being controlled here. #SUB2# Sapp is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Cruz knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Sapp content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. #T3##SU2# Sapp stands up. Cruz lands with a hook. Sapp tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Cruz scores with a hook. Cruz could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Cruz scores with a crisp jab that stopped Sapp in his tracks. Sapp looks to land a combination but Cruz avoids it well. It looks like Cruz has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him. Cruz with a hook. Cruz uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Sapp has time to react. A left and a right from Cruz both land. Nice combination. #ROC#Sapp is rocked!#T4# Cruz cracks a nice hook into Sapp's ribs. Sapp is still on wobbly legs! Can Cruz finish him? Sapp looks winded! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Cruz shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Sapp takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Cruz sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Sapp bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!

He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him. In defeat, Joe Sapp stepped up to the mic, saying 'Congratulations to my opponent and his team. he was the better man tonight'. |

#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sapp wants to clinch but TwoK slips to the side and TwoK counters with a nice uppercut. TwoK misses with a wild combination.
Sapp looks for a takedown but TwoK sprawls well. TwoK shoots in but no luck this time. Sapp fails with an attempt to clinch.
#CL# TwoK clinches up against the cage. Sapp looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. TwoK changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Sapp fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Sapp takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
#CL# TwoK fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Sapp, pushing him back against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. TwoK drops down looking for an ankle pick but Sapp pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ronnie TwoK. That's going to take a lot out of him. Sapp is on the wrong end of a nice combination from TwoK. Sapp tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but TwoK paws at him with a jab and circles away. Sapp takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.#T1# Sapp looks for a takedown but TwoK sprawls well. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Sapp. TwoK shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Sapp sprawls well. Sapp wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. TwoK gets slowly back to his feet. Sapp fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Sapp will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. TwoK misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Sapp shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says TwoK as he avoids it easily. Sapp looks for a takedown but TwoK sprawls well. Sapp looks winded! TwoK lands a jab-cross combination. #ROC#Sapp is rocked! TwoK tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Sapp is able to avoid easily. Sapp is still on wobbly legs! Can TwoK finish him? Sapp drops his hands for a split second and TwoK immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Sapp face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. TwoK follows up with a right hand that knocks Sapp into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!

#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sapp doesn't manage to clinch there - Bezalt circles away.
#CL# Sapp clinches up against the cage. Bezalt tries to break free but Sapp pushes him back against the cage.#BC# Sapp breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Bezalt closes the distance and lands a one-two.#TD# Sapp shoots in and bounces Bezalt off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sapp is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Sapp passes Bezalt's left leg - he's now in half guard. #T1# Sapp is taking a breather. Bezalt says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Sapp has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Sapp seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Bezalt for as long as he can get away with.#SUB# Sapp is looking for a kimura here.
Sapp passes the guard and advances to mount! #T2# Sapp won't let Bezalt get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Sapp looking to control and managing it successfully. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#SUB# Sapp has control of Bezalt's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Bezalt regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Sapp controlling the position easily from mount. #T3# This is a sustained period of stalling by Sapp.#SUB# Sapp working for a guillotine from mount but Bezalt is in no mood to give up. Sapp controlling from mount. Bezalt is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.#T4# Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Joe Sapp dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Bezalt wants to stand and escape but Sapp is having none of it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sapp looking to control the position here, rather than advance. #T1##REF3# The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.#CL# Sapp instigates a clinch. #T2# The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.#BC# Sapp manages to break the clinch.
Bezalt feints and then cracks Sapp's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Sapp down. #TD# Sapp shoots in and bounces Bezalt off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Sapp sitting in guard, not really doing much. Sapp advances position into side control!#T3# Bezalt trying to remain calm as Sapp controls from the top position. Sapp's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Sapp tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. #SUB# Sapp tries for a kimura but Bezalt is defending well. Bezalt is trying to escape the position but Sapp is controlling the position. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Bezalt is defending well against a takedown attempt. And that's the end of the fight! Joe Sapp showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Sapp, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
