#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck with that takedown attempt from Zhitsoo. As Zhitsoo backs off Platzeck throws a huge counter combo but Zhitsoo manages to avoid it all. Zhitsoo avoids a punch combination nicely.

Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Zhitsoo with a lazy takedown attempt #TD2# and Platzeck counters with a takedown into side control. Platzeck looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Zhitsoo is avoiding damage well.

Michael Platzeck dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Platzeck connects with a nice short shot to Zhitsoo's temple. Platzeck wants to take a breather but Zhitsoo is having none of it. Platzeck throwing shots but Zhitsoo is blocking nicely. Platzeck content to control rather than advance. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Platzeck looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Zhitsoo with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Platzeck is thwarting Zhitsoo's attempts to control the position.#T1# Platzeck seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Zhitsoo does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Zhitsoo is defended easily by Platzeck. Platzeck throws a body shot but no joy. Zhitsoo shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Zhoo Zhitsoo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Platzeck looks to land a combination but Zhitsoo avoids it well. Zhitsoo fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Platzeck avoids it really well and circles away. Zhitsoo shoots in for a takedown but Platzeck shows good takedown defense. Platzeck tries to bum rush Zhitsoo with a series of wild strikes but Zhitsoo uses good footwork to avoid the assault. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Platzeck might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Zhitsoo haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Platzeck throws a big elbow that misses. Platzeck sitting in guard, not really doing much. #REF3# The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Zhoo Zhitsoo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Zhitsoo avoids a kick to the body.

Zhitsoo fails with the takedown. Platzeck Throws a clean left jab. Platzeck Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Zhitsoo's chin! Zhitsoo crumbles to the ground and Platzeck follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Platzeck!

#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zhitsoo fails miserably with a takedown attempt.#TD2# Levendorsky drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Levendorsky stands up over Zhitsoo, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Zhitsoo is pulling down on Levendorsky's head. It's preventing any offense from Levendorsky, at least for the moment. Levendorsky slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Levendorsky passes into half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Zhitsoo is looking to control Levendorsky's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Zhitsoo avoid being mounted?#T1##SUB2# Levendorsky is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
