We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Haardt has eaten all the pies! Newland goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Newland does a little dance to reset his feet. Oh Newland is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Newland ducks under a wild hook from Haardt. Newland loads up on a big right hand but Haardt slips the punch. Newland seems to have got his legs back now. Haardt swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
It looked like Newland wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. No joy there for Newland, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Newland lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway!#KD2# Williams lands a big right hand that sends Newland crashing to the mat! Williams stays standing though and waves Newland back to his feet!#CUT2#It looks like Max Newland has been cut. Newland chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Williams can pounce on him.

#ROC2#Newland is rocked! Williams fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked Newland out cold! Brutal finish!

#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Farrokhi takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.#KD2# Farrokhi drops Newland with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Newland looks back up at him and smiles so Farrokhi waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
#ROC2#Newland is rocked!#CUT2#It looks like Max Newland has been cut. Farrokhi weaves into range and cracks Newland right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Newland goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Farrokhi is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Amin Farrokhi! After the fight, Amin Farrokhi was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly. Max Newland was interviewed post fight and said 'Oh come on dude, I lost, I didn't die...stop being so dramatic!'. |

#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! King shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Newland defends it nicely. King doesn't succeed with the takedown letting Newland counter with a right hand. #CUT2#It looks like Kevin King has been cut. Newland slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. King tries for a takedown but Newland circles away easily and Newland connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kevin King. That's going to take a lot out of him. Newland scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#TD# King drives through with a takedown into guard. King postures up.
King might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
