Bennett wants to sweep but no luck. Marx loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Marx postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Bennett has momentary wrist control but Marx slips an elbow through the middle. Bennett keeping moving, preventing Marx from controlling successfully. Marx looking to control the position here, rather than advance. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Marx lands a couple of digs.#T1# Bennett wants to sweep but no luck. Marx changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bennett tries to avoid it but Marx manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bennett to the ground. Bennett escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Bennett lands with a nice body punch. Bennett avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Bennett fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Marx looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Marx shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bennett pinned against the cage. Bennett gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Bennett looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Karl Marx. That's going to take a lot out of him.#KD2# Bennett lands a big right hand that sends Marx crashing to the mat! Bennett stays standing though and waves Marx back to his feet! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bennett cracks Marx with a left hook right on the temple and Marx goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Bennett lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Marx is OK!

Pimba throws a series of punches but Marx moves out of range. #TD# Pimba gets caught flat footed, as Marx shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Marx sitting in guard, not really doing much. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Marx throws a big right hand that misses. Marx wants to pass the guard but Pimba is keeping the position. Marx is looking to work some ground and pound but Pimba has wrist control. We've been hearing that Marx has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Marx is stalling in the full guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Pimba can do anything to dispel that myth. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Marx connects with a couple of short punches. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Marx throwing strikes from guard but Pimba blocks nicely. #T1# Marx trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Marx in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Marx looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Pimba with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Marx will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Marx trying to control the pace. Pimba avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Marx. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Marx is trying to control. Pimba wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Marx looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Marx not doing much here.

Pimba is one violent man!

Marx fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.#KD2# McRay cracks Marx with an uppercut from hell and Marx crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of McRay's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

Chase has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Marx is working away from the top position though. Marx looks towards his corner to check for any instructions.
