The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ban blocks a head kick by Kazhenov.
Ban bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Kazhenov's head.
Ban bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Kazhenov's head backwards.#TD#
Kazhenov shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Ban napping and manages to drive through into side control!#SU#
Kazhenov decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Kazhenov closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ban circles away.
Kazhenov misses the shot to the body. #TD#
Kazhenov manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Ban on his heels. He'll look to pass Ban's guard now, I'm sure.#ES2#
Ban wriggles free and stands up.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ban lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Kazhenov falls backwards - clearly groggy! Ban dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Stanky Ban!
Stanky Ban got down on his knees post fight and begged the management for a title shot. 'Please, I want that title shot so bad! Give it to me!' |
