That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Lee Popper.
Well Jackson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Tanaka connects with a good right hand that stumbles Jackson. Jackson circles away out of range and recomposes himself.#CUT#It looks like Shawn Jackson has been cut.

Tanaka smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Jackson shoots in and drives through. Tanaka sprawls well.

Tanaka dips to his left and cracks Jackson with an uppercut!

Tanaka stuns Jackson with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Jackson takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Tanaka digs a good hook to Jackson's body.

Jackson walks straight into a right hand from Tanaka - that's dropped him! Tanaka jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Jackson from any more punishment! Jackson complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
