#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway!#TD# Killer gets a double leg takedown into Barnes's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Killer controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Barnes is wriggling around but Killer manages to pass to half guard.
Killer is pressing down on Barnes's thigh, looking to free his foot. Barnes is holding on for now. Barnes tries to get to full guard but Killer has control of the leg. Barnes trying to hold on to Killer's head to control him but Killer postures up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Killer thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Barnes trying to control from the bottom.
Barnes is trying to stand.
#T1# Barnes slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.#SUB2# Barnes working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Killer doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Killer manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. #SUB2# Barnes throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Killer slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. #SUB2# Barnes throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Killer escapes and throws Barnes's legs to the side, diving into side control! We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Barnes can do anything to dispel that myth.#T2# Barnes is looking to regain half guard here but Killer keeps moving and retains side control. Barnes is being controlled here. #T3# Barnes can't do much from the bottom here. Barnes is trying to improve his position. Barnes can't do much from the bottom here. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Killer tries to score with some ground and pound. Barnes controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. #T4# A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.#SU# Killer has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Killer fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Left hook, right uppercut from Killer. Killer fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Barnes on the side of the head. Killer moves in looking to clinch but Barnes pushes him off. Killer scores with a spinning back kick! Killer cracks Barnes with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.#CL2# Barnes gets a clinch. Barnes holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Killer lands a hook to the side of the head. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Barnes drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hunter Killer dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.#R2# Killer thows a body kick. Barnes tries to catch it but that hurt him. Hunter Killer is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Killer connects with a jab. Killer is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Barnes can do to turn this around? A left and a right from Killer both land. Nice combination. Nice sprawl there from Killer as Barnes shoots in. Killer appears to be looking for a big counter. Barnes throws a lazy head kick and Killer counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. #ROC#Barnes is rocked! Killer is throwing punches like he's double parked. Oh my word! Huge right hand from Killer shuts the power down on Barnes. Lights out, game over! Killer is your winner.
