Kirk pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
VonRueden has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Elite Underground Training Facility in the buildup to the fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

VonRueden jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Kirk walks away with a smile on his face. VonRueden gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Kirk drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks VonRueden right on the button. VonRueden goes down! Kirk follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Kirk gets the win via TKO!

Hoffmanstein shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with VonRueden but VonRueden pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Hoffmanstein fails with a takedown attempt.
Hoffmanstein tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but VonRueden swivels and escapes.
VonRueden looks like he wants to counter punch here.

Hoffmanstein changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. VonRueden tries to avoid it but Hoffmanstein manages to keep hold of a leg and drag VonRueden to the ground. VonRueden escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. #TD#

VonRueden should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Hoffmanstein throws a hook but VonRueden avoids it easily.
VonRueden has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Hoffmanstein .
Hoffmanstein circles away from the clinch attempt.
VonRueden avoids a punch combination nicely.
VonRueden tries to close the distance and clinch but Hoffmanstein swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.#CL2#
Klimenko tries to keep at a distance but VonRueden has taken the fight into the clinch.#TD2#
VonRueden gets control of Klimenko's arms and successfully pulls guard. VonRueden will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.#SUB2#
VonRueden has his foot on Klimenko's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Klimenko works his way back into a safe position though.

Klimenko got a little sloppy there for a moment and VonRueden has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Klimenko has managed to get both his arms back between VonRueden's legs - danger averted.#SUB2#

VonRueden's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Klimenko is holding on here and VonRueden must be using up a lot of energy. Klimenko has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! VonRueden gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!

VonRueden working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Cruz doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but VonRueden is tightening it up a little... Cruz has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Cruz reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Cruz taps out! Nice BJJ there by VonRueden!
