#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway!#TD# Lok looking for a takedown here - he's got it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Heats is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Lok works over Heats with some ground and pound from guard. Lok slips nicely into half guard. Lok will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.#SUB# Lok is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Heats defends it well. Heats is looking for a sweep. Lok is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.#SUB2# Heats is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Lok pulls his head out easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB# Lok seems to be looking for submissions.
Lok thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Heats's head. Heats avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Lok. Lok knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Heats on the ground.#T1##SUB# Lok is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Heats defends it well. Heats tries to get to full guard but Lok has control of the leg. Heats regains full guard. Nicely done. #SUB2# Heats is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Lok has his hands clasped together but Heats extends and breaks Lok's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Heats.

#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lok swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Astacio counters with a left to the body. #TD2# Astacio gets the takedown into side control. #ES# Lok throws Astacio to one side and escapes!#TD2# Astacio closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Lok to the mat! Lok manages to get full guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Lok is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Lok is pulling down on Astacio's head to control his posture. Lok wants to stand and escape but Astacio is having none of it. Lok keeping moving, preventing Astacio from controlling successfully. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lok looking to sweep here. No luck so far. #T1# Astacio tries to free his leg and advance position but Lok is retaining full guard. Lok is trying to control the position but Astacio postures up. Astacio wants to control from the top but Lok keeps moving. #REF3# The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Lok tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Astacio defends well and Lok ends up having to push Astacio into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Astacio shoots in for a takedown but Lok shows good takedown defense. #CL2# Astacio moves into range and clinches up with Lok. Astacio tries to pull guard but Lok forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Astacio tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Din Lok has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eric Astacio. Astacio throws an elbow but it misses.
Astacio jumps guard but Lok stands there with Astacio around his waist. Astacio gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Astacio tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Lok avoids it.#T2# Lok wants a takedown.
Astacio has had enough of the clinch but Lok keeps him there for the moment. Astacio is trying to break the clinch but Lok is controlling him. Lok wants to take the fight to the mat but Astacio manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Astacio tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. #BC2# Astacio breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Lok throws a body kick despite being completely out of range#TD2# and Astacio counters with a nice double leg into side control. Lok won't be happy with that. #ES# Lok throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!#CL# Lok closes the distance and pushes Astacio back into the cage. Lok tries to pull guard but Astacio won't allow it.
Astacio is working for takedown but Lok is calmly controlling the position for now.#TD# Lok jumps guard and drags Astacio to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. #T3# Lok has control of Astacio's left arm, preventing Astacio from doing any damage. Lok working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Astacio. #SUB# Lok is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Astacio frees his head nicely. Oh but Lok has switched to an armbar! Astacio is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
