Dave Leopoldo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Miller counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Miller walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Miller limp body while Leopoldo jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!

It looked like Miller was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Andrianakis.
Miller cracks Andrianakis with a right hand to the side of the head.

Miller has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Miller has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Kangas is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Miller stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Miller fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Kangas to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Kangas looks to clinch but Miller throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Kangas taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

In his post fight interview, Joel Miller started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception. |

Joel Miller has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Khabib Hellstrong.

Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Miller engages and cracks Hellstrong with a massive lead left hook - Hellstrong tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Miller is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
