We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Popper shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jackson pinned against the cage. Jackson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lee Popper. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jackson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Popper's waist but Popper gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jackson off to one side. A counter left hand to the body from Popper misses its target. Popper gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily #KD2# and Jackson counters with a crisp one two that drops Popper! Jackson thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Popper to his feet! Popper is in big trouble!#T1# Jackson shoots in for a takedown. And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Lee Popper. Well Jackson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality.
