#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jay cracks Silva with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.#CL# Silva gets tackled into the cage by Jay. Jay maintains the clinch. Jay wants to break free but Silva has control.
Silva blocks a body shot from Jay. Silva blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Silva wants a takedown but no success here.
#TD2# Silva gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Jay regains guard.
Silva is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Jay is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Silva advances to half guard. Well, if Silva is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Silva working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Silva content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Jay is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Silva trying to control the pace. Silva is thwarting Jay's attempts to control the position. Jay is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Silva working the head and body with strikes. #T2# The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Silva keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jay keeping hold of Silva's head, controlling as best he can. Jay is looking for a sweep. Silva is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Silva trying to control the pace. Jay trying to hold on to Silva's head to control him but Silva postures up.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Silva in particular looking to stall. Let's hope that Silva has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.#T3# We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Silva. Jay is concentrating on defense, preventing Silva from advancing position. Silva is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Silva is controlling the pace.
Silva tries to pass to full mount but Jay defends it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Silva is controlling the pace.
#T4# Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Jay wants to get back to full guard. Jay trying to control here.
Jay is looking for a sweep. Silva is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Silva is nestled in close to Jay, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Silva is figuring out what he wants to do next. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Silva's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. The fighters are battling for position here. Jay manages to regain full guard. Nice work. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dominico Silva dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!#R2# Jay with a hook. Jay circles away from the clinch attempt.

Jay lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Silva backwards. Jay is defending well against a takedown attempt. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Jay creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Still in the clinch, Jay scores with a nice short uppercut. Silva is looking for a takedown.#BC# Jay manages to break the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Silva dives in for a single leg takedown but Jay sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. LL Jay has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dominico Silva. Silva takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Jay drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Silva right on the button. Silva goes down! Jay follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Jay gets the win via TKO!
