Hall ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Hall no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. #SUB#
Hall is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Shoota preventing the sweep.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hall pulls Shoota in close to prevent any damage.

Shoota drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Shoota seems to have locked his on tight now - Hall screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Shoota, as he picks up the win!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sailor scores with a shot to the body.
Shoota fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Sailor stuffs the takedown attempt from Shoota. Shoota gets slowly back to his feet.
Sailor seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Shoota looks for a takedown but Sailor sprawls well.
Evgeniy Sailor has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rapper Shoota.
Sailor misses with a wild combination.

Shoota walks into a left hand.
Shoota takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.#T1#
Shoota fails with the takedown.
Shoota walks straight into a right hand from Sailor - that's dropped him! Sailor jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Shoota from any more punishment! Shoota complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Evgeniy Sailor!
After the fight, Evgeniy Sailor was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly. |
