Sawamura fails with the takedown.
Smith scores with a hook.#CUT#It looks like Akira Sawamura has been cut.
Smith sizes up Sawamura with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
A telegraphed right hand from Smith misses the target.
Smith throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Sawamura stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Sawamura takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Smith thows a left - swing and a miss!
Sawamura tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Sawamura is looking to clinch but Smith is avoiding it.
Sawamura ducks under a wild hook from Smith.
Sawamura is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Smith lands a nice hook to Sawamura's body. Sawamura takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Sawamura fails with a takedown attempt.
Sawamura is looking to clinch.
Sawamura throws a sloppy head kick and Smith moves out of range easily. #KD#
Smith lands a big right hand that sends Sawamura crashing to the mat! Smith stays standing though and waves Sawamura back to his feet!#ROC#Sawamura is rocked!#T1#
Sawamura is aggressively charging in as Smith backs up avoiding any damage. Smith tosses out a jab and Sawamura runs right into it face first! Sawamura is out cold! Smith dropped down on all fours and is barking in Sawamura's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
