Buffer looking to hit a scissor sweep but Face is one step ahead there.
Face working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Buffer's head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Face pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Buffer is keeping the position for now.
Buffer not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Face scores with a big shot! Buffer's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Buffer! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lukas shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Buffer as he avoids it easily.
Buffer shoots in for a takedown but Lukas shows good takedown defense.
Lukas fails with the takedown.
Luke Lukas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lukas dives in for a single leg takedown but Buffer sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Buffer drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Lukas defends it well.
Lukas seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Luke Lukas. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lukas tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Buffer! But no joy.
Lukas shoots in but no luck this time.
Buffer throws a big shot that misses.

Lukas tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Buffer avoids it.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Buffer has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Lukas defend it? Buffer steps over the head and cranks it - Lukas is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Buffer!

Chavez throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Chavez closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Buffer to the mat! Buffer manages to get full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Buffer has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Chavez should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Buffer has tightened it up now! Chavez should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
