#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Freecs misses with a takedown attempt and Rhea counters with a right hand to the body. Rhea tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Freecs defends well and Rhea ends up having to push Freecs into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Freecs misses with a few strikes there.
Freecs throws a combination that misses #KD2# and Rhea counters with a crisp one two that drops Freecs! Rhea thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Freecs to his feet! Freecs is in big trouble! Freecs falls off balance throwing a combination
and Rhea counters with a monster hook and another for good measure! Freecs falls to the ground, out cold! Stick some heavy metal music over the top of that clip and it's one for the highlight makers!

#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway!#CL# Malayon clinches up against the cage.#TD# Malayon drags the fight down to the ground.
#SUB# Malayon working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Freecs doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Freecs manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. #SUB# Malayon is looking for a triangle but Freecs pushes his legs off easily.

Freecs has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Malayon is proving hard to escape from. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB# Malayon has his foot on Freecs's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Freecs works his way back into a safe position though. Freecs tries to stand but Malayon is controlling from the bottom. #SUB# Malayon is looking for a triangle but Freecs pushes his legs off easily.
#SU2# Freecs gets to his feet. Malayon looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! #T1# Freecs's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Freecs duly obliges. Freecs throws a body kick that misses #TD# so Malayon counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Malayon wants to pass the guard but Freecs is keeping the position. Freecs is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Malayon is controlling him. Malayon wants to pass the guard but Freecs is keeping the position. Malayon postures up.
Freecs looks winded! Malayon stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Freecs swivels though and keeps the full guard. Freecs really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Malayon. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.#T2##SUB# Malayon is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Malayon passes Freecs's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Freecs tries to roll over but Malayon keeps him under control.#SUB# Malayon is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Freecs doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Malayon. Malayon is looking to advance position but Freecs won't allow it. #T3# Malayon is working hard here to advance position.#ES2# Freecs kicks Malayon off and gets back to his feet. Malayon shoots in for a takedown but Freecs shows good takedown defense. #CL# Freecs tries to keep at a distance but Malayon has taken the fight into the clinch.#TD# Malayon decides to pull guard. #SUB# Malayon is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. #T4# Freecs would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Freecs wants to stand and escape but instead Malayon has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. #REVR# Malayon trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Freecs wants to stand up but Malayon is controlling him. Malayon stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Freecs swivels though and keeps the full guard. Freecs is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Malayon is controlling him. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Malayon stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Freecs swivels though and keeps the full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Greg Malayon dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!#R2# Malayon uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Freecs. Freecs connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Freecs throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Freecs fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
#CL# Malayon gets a clinch. Freecs looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.#TD# Malayon jumps guard and drags Freecs to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. #SUB# Malayon looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Freecs is defending well. Malayon quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Freecs has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Malayon celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
