#R1# Astonomanov takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Astonomanov avoids the body shot from Weasel.
#TD2# Astonomanov closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Weasel to the mat! Weasel manages to get full guard. Astonomanov throws a big elbow that misses. Astonomanov throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Weasel has momentary wrist control but Astonomanov slips an elbow through the middle. Weasel can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Astonomanov controls the pace. Astonomanov has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Weasel is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Astonomanov is working the ground and pound from guard. Weasel throws out a loose jab but Astonomanov uses good head movement to avoid it. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Astonomanov! But no joy. Weasel throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Astonomanov shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Weasel but Weasel pushes him off and we're back to square one. Astonomanov is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Astonomanov misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Weasel connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Astonomanov tumbling to the canvas! Weasel pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Astonomanov was done - good stoppage!

#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck for Astonomanov with that takedown attempt. Astonomanov missing with a left hand there. Bridger was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Nice uppercut lands for Bridger. That snapped Astonomanov's head back.
Astonomanov closes the distance but Bridger moves to the side and Bridger counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Nice straight punches there by Bridger. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Bridger. Bridger fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Ezra Bridger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Astonomanov gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Bridger throws a monster overhand right that drops Astonomanov! Bridger follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hall tries to roll over but Astonomanov keeps him under control. Astonomanov lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Astonomanov is nestled in close to Hall, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.#T1# Hall wants to get back to full guard. Hall is still trying to improve position.
