The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James lands a leg kick that knocks Alderidge off balance momentarily.
James tries to land a leg kick but Alderidge saw it coming and moves away.
Alderidge changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
A kick lands to the mid section there for James.
James slips under a jab.
James pushes Alderidge away with a front kick.
James scoring well with a low kick there.
James moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
A slapping leg kick lands for James.

Alderidge closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Alderidge lands in his opponent's guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
James pulls Alderidge in close to prevent any damage.
James controls Alderidge momentarily but Alderidge frees himself. #T1#
Alderidge not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

James is trying to control the position but Alderidge postures up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
A low kick from James misses #TD2#
and Alderidge counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Alderidge.
James keeping moving, preventing Alderidge from controlling successfully.
Alderidge loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Alderidge wants to pass the guard but James is keeping the position.
Alderidge slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
James can't keep his opponent in guard - Alderidge advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
James is staying active underneath Alderidge, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

I would just about give that final round to Ranger Alderidge.
