Kelly throws a looping overhand right but Diaz ducks down to avoid it. Diaz keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Kelly. It seemed like Diaz was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Kelly looks to throw the jab but Diaz is out of range. Kelly throws a combination that misses and Diaz counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Kelly just misses with a punch to the body.

We've been informed that Diaz has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Kelly on the wrong end of a nice jab. Kelly jabbing away but nothing is landing. Kelly throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Diaz stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Diaz misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Austin misses with a takedown attempt and Diaz counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Austin throws a series of punches but Diaz avoids them all with ease. Austin takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Austin looks for a takedown but Diaz sprawls well. Cristian Diaz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Simon Austin. Diaz scores with a jab to the body. Diaz cracks Austin with a good jab. Austin has his takedown stuffed and Diaz counters with a nice uppercut. Diaz takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Diaz scores with a crisp jab that stopped Austin in his tracks. #CL2# Austin takes the fight into the clinch. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Diaz lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Diaz scores with a nice hook to the head. Diaz tries to break the clinch but Austin is controlling the position. Austin is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Diaz gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Diaz tries a knee to the head but Austin blocks it.

Not this time though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Austin seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. #T3# We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Diaz wants to control but Austin passes into side.

We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Diaz tries to get out of the position. Diaz is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Diaz feints a jab promting Austin to slip. Diaz then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Austin slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. This has been an exciting period of action! Diaz lands with a cross. Austin misses with a jab, cross combination.

And that's the end of the fight! Cristian Diaz showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Diaz, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
