#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway!#TD# Noble manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Test on his heels. He'll look to pass Test's guard now, I'm sure. Noble is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Test pulls Noble in close to his closed guard and prevents Noble from doing any damage or advancing position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Noble looking to pass the guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#T1# Test is adopting a defensive guard. Test trying to control the position.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Noble is stalling in the full guard. #REF3# The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.#T2# Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.#TD# Noble shoots in and gets a takedown into Test's guard. Noble sitting in guard, not really doing much. Noble seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Test for as long as he can get away with.
And that's the end of the fight! Reggie Noble showed his dominance in that final round. Well Noble has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1 round of action, we go to the scorecards for a decision. Judge William Gold scores the fight 10:8 Judge Richard Clark scores the fight 10:8 Judge Colin Fotheringham scores the fight 10:8
In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Reggie Noble! |
