#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Electricity has a takedown stuffed. Electricity closes the distance and clinches up with Redfield, looking for a takedown. Electricity pushes Redfield against the cage but Redfield circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. And Redfield tries to counter it with a takedown but Electricity pushes his down on his head and steps out. Electricity stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Electricity wants it to stay on the feet.#TD# Electricity drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Electricity won't allow Redfield to get back to his feet. Electricity stands up over Redfield, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Electricity scoring with some ground and pound. Redfield throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Redfield is trying to keep Electricity in close.
Electricity working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Redfield trying to keep a closed guard but Electricity is proving a slippery customer.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#T1# Redfield lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.#REVB# Redfield trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Electricity wants to sweep here but Redfield controlling him for the moment. Electricity keeping moving, preventing Redfield from controlling successfully. Electricity wants to improve his position but instead Redfield has moved into half guard.

He's all about the action. Electricity knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Redfield on the ground. Electricity has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Electricity is looking for a sweep. Redfield is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Electricity desperately trying to maintain half guard. #T3##REF3# The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.#TD# Electricity shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Electricity lands a couple of digs.#SUB2# Redfield working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Electricity doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Electricity manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Redfield has momentary wrist control but Electricity slips an elbow through the middle.#T4# Electricity slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. #SUB2# Redfield looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Redfield looks winded! Electricity working some strikes from top position. Electricity content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Electricity scoring with some ground and pound. Electricity is stalling in the full guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Redfield is trying to keep Electricity in close.

Sunny Electricity dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!#R2# A head kick misses from Redfield. Redfield tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Redfield changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Electricity tries to avoid it but Redfield manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Electricity to the ground. Electricity escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Redfield fails with the takedown#TD# and Electricity counters with a nice double leg into side control. Redfield won't be happy with that. Redfield is being controlled here. Electricity is chipping away with strikes.
Electricity working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Electricity in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Redfield is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Electricity has just dragged him back down to the mat. Electricity working the head and body with strikes. Electricity connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Redfield some visible discomfort.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Electricity lands a decent elbow from side control. #ROC#Redfield is rocked! Redfield is breathing heavily. Electricity cracks Redfield with an elbow. That is naaassty. Redfield is still in real trouble! Can Electricity finish him? Electricity in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Redfield looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Electricity turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!

#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kerr's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Redfield connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Kerr scrambles back to his feet.#CL2# Redfield has managed to clinch.
#TD2# Redfield gets control of Kerr's arms and successfully pulls guard. Redfield will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Kerr is working Redfield over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Redfield trying to control the position.
Kerr is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Kerr stopping the sweep attempt from Redfield. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kerr tries to stand but Redfield is controlling from the bottom. Redfield working a defensive guard here.
Kerr controls from within his opponent's guard. #T1# Redfield tries to land a sweep but no joy. #SUB2# Redfield looking for a guillotine here but Kerr defends easily.

Redfield gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Redfield wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.#SUB# Redfield showing good submission defense here.
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
#T3# Kerr wants to control but Redfield is keeping busy.#SUB# Kerr patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? I would not like to be Redfield right now.
#SUB# Redfield is having to fend off submission attempts from Kerr, who is looking to sink in the choke. Kerr doesn't have the hooks in though and Redfield manages to reverse position! He's now on top, in his opponent's guard. #SUB# Kerr is looking for a triangle but Redfield pushes his legs off easily.
#T4# Kerr controls Redfield momentarily but Redfield frees himself. Redfield is looking to advance position but Kerr has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!#REVR# Kerr landing strikes, looking to finish! Kerr postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Redfield looks a forlorn figure.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Kerr scoring with strikes but Redfield is staying in there. Redfield is trying to escape the mount.

Redfield thuds a left hand into Kerr's body. Kerr throws a jab when Redfield was well out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Redfield is looking to clinch but Kerr is avoiding it.
As Redfield tries to get set, Kerr tries to push him back and clinch up but Redfield manages to avoid the attempt.#CL2# Redfield clinches with his opponent.

Kerr shoots in for a takedown but Redfield shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.#T1# Kerr tries for a takedown but Redfield circles away easily and Redfield counters with a right hand to the body. #TD2# Kerr gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Redfield to score an easy takedown into full guard. Redfield throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Kerr works some decent striking defense from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#SUB# Redfield avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

He's now in the guard on the top. #REVR# Redfield really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kerr. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Kerr shoots in looking for a takedown. Redfield tries to sprawl out of it but Kerr keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Redfield manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Wayne Kerr. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kerr is looking to chop away at Redfield's legs. Redfield steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Kerr. Redfield connects with a body shot.#CL2# Redfield takes the fight into the clinch. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Kerr is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Redfield gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.#BC2# Redfield escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
