Mack looks to land a right hand but Aalto moved out of range. Aalto shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Mack as he jumps to the side. A head kick misses from Mack. Mack throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Aalto sees it coming and avoids it easily. Aalto lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Mack thows a left - swing and a miss! Aalto tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Horrible takedown attempt by Aalto or perhaps it was just good defense by Mack, which made it look bad. Mack throwing a counter right hand but Aalto manages to avoid it. Kole Mack has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Antero Aalto. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mack manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
