Kokusho closes the distance and clinches up with Werdum, looking for a takedown. Kokusho pushes Werdum against the cage but Werdum circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Werdum rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kokusho moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Hitoiro Kokusho seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
