#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A swing and a miss from Bihamta. Figodikov fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Bihamta avoids it really well and circles away. Decent striking displayed by Bihamta there. Bihamta misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
#KD2# Bihamta lands a big head kick that sends Figodikov tumbling to the mat! Bihamta takes a step backwards and waves Figodikov back to his feet - he wants the finish!#CUT2#It looks like Abu Figodikov has been cut. Figodikov uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bihamta.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Whack! Bihamta lands a heavy head kick that drops Figodikov. The ref tackles Bihamta to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Figodikov was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Shahab Bihamta! #R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway!#TD2# Anger shoots in and gets a takedown into Figodikov's guard. Figodikov seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission. Anger postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Anger working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Anger is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Figodikov bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Anger's guard. #REVR# Figodikov trying to control the position from guard on top but Anger is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Anger is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Anger keeping moving, preventing Figodikov from controlling successfully. #SUB# Figodikov drops back looking for a leg! Anger is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Anger manages to kick Figodikov off! Figodikov jumps back into Anger's guard. #T1# Figodikov passes into half guard. Figodikov is trying to control. Anger wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Anger controlling the position well. Anger is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Anger really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Figodikov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.#SUB# Figodikov is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Anger felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.#SUB# Figodikov is trying to work for a kimura but Anger is defending well.
#T2# A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Figodikov wants to take a breather but Anger is having none of it. #SUB# Figodikov is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Anger wants to get back to full guard.#SUB# Figodikov is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Anger doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Figodikov. Figodikov sitting and controlling from the half guard. #T3# Anger keeps control of the position for the meantime. #SUB# Figodikov looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Anger can do anything to dispel that myth.#T4# Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.#SUB# Figodikov is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Anger has managed to free his arm - good work. #SUB2# Anger is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Figodikov pulls his head out easily. Figodikov works his way into full mount! #SUB# Figodikov has control of Anger's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Anger regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!#SUB# Figodikov has hold of Anger's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Anger manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Abu Figodikov dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!#R2##TD2# Anger shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Anger showed some decent athleticism there. Anger throwing shots but Figodikov is blocking nicely. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Figodikov is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Anger's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Anger's back! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Anger tries to escape the position.
Abu Figodikov overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Figodikov trying to control. Anger trying to control the position but Figodikov manages to sink in the hooks. #T1##SUB# Figodikov is working the back position looking for the choke. Oh, he's slid into an armbar! Beautiful transition and Anger taps out! Fantastic Jiu Jitsu from Figodikov.

#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Figodikov dives in and grabs Anger's left leg, looking for a takedown. Anger pushes down on Figodikov's head and hops out. Anger misses with a two punch combination.
The fight stays on the outside here - Figodikov looks like he's thinking about clinching though.#CL2# Anger takes the fight into the clinch. #TD2# Anger has Figodikov pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Anger pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Figodikov tumbling to the mat - Anger dives into Figodikov's guard.#SUB# Figodikov pushes a forearm under Anger's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Anger is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
