#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Majors throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
#CUT2#It looks like Paul Shelter has been cut. Shelter throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Majors's waist but Majors gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Shelter off to one side. Shelter shoots in looking for a takedown but Majors manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Shelter's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Majors is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Shelter with a body shot. Shelter changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Majors tries to avoid it but Shelter manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Majors to the ground. Majors escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Paul Shelter. That's going to take a lot out of him. Shelter has his takedown stuffed and Majors counters with a lovely straight right hand! Paul Shelter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Majors lands a big right hook! Shelter looks hurt but is still standing! Majors lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Shelter falls down and Majors dives in with a huge hammer fist! Shelter's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and Majors runs up the cage to celebrate with his fans!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Jonas Majors! The defeated Paul Shelter had this to say: 'Kudos to my opponent for putting on an excellent performance. It's a bitter pill to swallow, but I'll come back stronger!!'. |

#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shelter fails to land the takedown. Shelter keeps the fight on the outside.#TD2# Shelter bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Gayle tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops. My spies in Island Training Centre inform me that Shelter has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!#SUB2# Shelter is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Gayle is defending well though. Shelter let's go of the attempt for now.#SUB2# Gayle is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
You can see the frustration on Gayle's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
#T1##SUB2# Shelter looking for the RNC. Shelter trying to control. Well, with Shelter on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Gayle is tapping out... Can he escape the position? Gayle trying to control the action but Shelter just sinks the hooks in. Gayle tries to break free.
Gayle is working hard here to advance position. Shelter avoiding Gayle 's attempts to control his hands. #SUB2# Shelter has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Gayle has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Shelter controlling well, preventing Gayle from escaping the position.
#T2##SUB2# Gayle is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Shelter gets his way!
Shelter has good solid back control here. Gayle is trying to get back to his feet but Shelter has full control of the position and if anything, Gayle has just worked his way into a worse spot.#SUB2# Shelter has got one arm under Gayle's chin. This could be trouble... Gayle trying to control the other hand but Shelter gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Gayle has tapped out! The fight is over!

#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shelter looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. #CL# Harko forces Shelter back against the cage and clinches. Harko keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Shelter's efforts to push away. Harko lands a hook to the side of the head.#CUT#It looks like Paul Shelter has been cut. Harko lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Harko lands a right hand. Harko taking a breather. Shelter misses with a hook to the ribs.
Harko lands a shoulder strike. A shot in the inside from Harko. Harko throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Shelters head. A right hand to the body from Harko.
Shelter looks winded! A short left from Harko. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Harko lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. A short right hand to the side of the head by Harko.#ROC#Shelter is rocked! An uppercut to the body lands inside from Harko. Shelter is still on wobbly legs! Can Harko finish him?#T1# Harko creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Shelter's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Shelter drops to his knees and Harko pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hakim Harko! Hakim Harko decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way. Paul Shelter was interviewed post fight and said 'Kudos to my opponent for putting on an excellent performance. It's a bitter pill to swallow, but I'll come back stronger!!'. |

#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway!#TD2# Jones drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Shelter is looking for a sweep. You can see the frustration on Shelter's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. I wouldn't like to be where Shelter is right now. Shelter manages to work his way to half guard, despite Jones's best efforts. Jones missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Jones is trying to control the action in half guard but Shelter is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB# Shelter looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Shelter slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.#SUB# Shelter has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Jones doesn't defend quickly enough and Shelter has managed to lock this one up! Can Jones escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Shelter on a fantastic submission victory.

#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shelter gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Pimba counters with a one-two to the body. #TD# Shelter looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Pimba! Pimba tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops. Pimba is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Shelter off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted. Pimba is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. #SUB# Pimba is looking to escape but he's done so without protecting himself and Shelter manages to counter with a nice rear naked choke! Pimba is in trouble and he's forced to tap!

Shelter lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Theobroma Segondo backwards. #BC# Shelter's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.#TD# Shelter looking to score a takedown here. Theobroma Segondo is defending well but Shelter drives through and ends up in Theobroma Segondo's guard.#SUB# Shelter postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Theobroma Segondo is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Shelter, into his guard. #REVB##SUB# Theobroma Segondo is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Shelter has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Theobroma Segondo is looking to defend but Shelter has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Theobroma Segondo! Shelter pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Theobroma Segondo taps out and this one is all over!

After the fight, Paul Shelter was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly. |

Theobroma Segondo sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Shelter defending well though. Theobroma Segondo trying to control from half guard but Shelter is working away. Shelter wants to control but Theobroma Segondo is keeping busy.

Theobroma Segondo is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Shelter pulls down on the head and he's put Theobroma Segondo to sleep! This one is all over!

#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stillwell scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Stillwell throws a right and a left that both miss. Shelter changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.#TD2# Shelter closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Shelter lands in his opponent's guard. Shelter looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Stillwell could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Shelter slips nicely into half guard.#SUB2# Shelter is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
