The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blaydes scores with a nice body kick.
Garvey jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Blaydes takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Garvey walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Blaydes checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Blaydes fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Garvey takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Blaydes feints and then cracks Garvey's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Garvey down.
Garvey misses with a hook. Blaydes ducked under it nicely.
Garvey has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Blaydes.
Blaydes comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Oscar Blaydes spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant. |
