The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.#TD2# Belvedere is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Danault 's half guard. And in the blue corner, fighting out of Hilo, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Afa Burat! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Reed Andrews and Alyssa Summers.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Burat can do anything to dispel that myth. Burat wants to improve his position but Danault is controlling well.

#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Switzer stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.#CUT#It looks like Daniel Danault has been cut. Danault darts in looking for a takedown but Switzer gets double underhooks and turns Danault into the cage. Switzer misses with a straight right. #TD2# Danault closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. #SUB2# Danault tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Danault postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Danault wants to lay and pray for a moment but Switzer keeps working. #SUB2# Danault tries for a kimura but Switzer is defending well. Switzer is trying to improve his position.#T1##SU2# Danault stands up and we're back to a striking position. Switzer connects with a body shot. Switzer scores with a nice strike. Danault shoots in for a takedown but Switzer shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Danault ducks under a wild hook from Switzer. Switzer checks the leg kick. A jab from Switzer misses. And Danault tries to counter it with a takedown but Switzer pushes his down on his head and steps out. Switzer paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.#ROC#Danault is rocked! Switzer pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Danault is still on wobbly legs! Can Switzer finish him? Danault moves out of range as Switzer strikes. Danault feints the counter takedown. Switzer paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Switzer keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Switzer is looking to counter punch. Yelch Switzer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Daniel Danault .#T2# Danault slips under a jab from Switzer. Danault is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Switzer looks to score with a jab to the body but Danault is just out of range. Switzer misses with a hook. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Nice shot lands for Switzer. Danault takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Switzer drops Danault with a naaaaasty hook - Danault is in real trouble here! Switzer dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
