Hamzah fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Hamzah tries to pull guard but Conn Jr forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Fahri Hamzah. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Hamzah rushes Omnikov and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Hamzah jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Omnikov walks away with a smile on his face. Hamzah gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Omnikov tries to score with a low kick but Hamzah moves his leg out of the way.#CL2#
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Hamzah tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Omnikov has a couple of punches blocked by Hamzah.
Hamzah jumps guard but Omnikov stands there with Hamzah around his waist. Hamzah gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Ruslan Omnikov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fahri Hamzah.

Omnikov is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Hamzah can't fight it off and eventually Omnikov manages to take the fight to the floor. Hamzah looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Omnikov seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
