Bashir makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Bashir tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Haycott's elbow. Bashir works on Haycott's body with a couple of short punches. Bashir lands with a short shot to the head. Bashir lands a shoulder strike. Haycott is looking to control Bashir's arms but Bashir gets an underhook and turns him. Alonso throws a jab when Haycott was well out of range. Alonso looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Alonso throws a looping overhand right but Haycott ducks down to avoid it. Haycott unleashes a big counter combination but Alonso bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A big right from Alonso misses. Alonso could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Alonso scores with a punch to the head. Haycott throws a counter combo.#TD# Bagindo closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Haycott did well to prevent Bagindo getting side control. Bagindo trying to control the action but Haycott is working from the bottom. Bagindo with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Bagindo is pressing down on Haycott's thigh, looking to free his foot. Haycott is holding on for now. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bagindo sitting and controlling from the half guard. Bagindo wants to control but Haycott is keeping him busy. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#T1# Bagindo is pressing down on Haycott's thigh, looking to free his foot. Haycott is holding on for now. #R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! David swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Haycott is looking for a counter combo. David looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! David tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. It looked like Haycott was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. David tries for a takedown but Haycott circles away easily and Haycott counters with a left and a right... and another left... and another!! That last one turned off the lights! David has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Roberto Haycott! Roberto Haycott opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see. Robinson David was interviewed post fight and said 'Hey, man, wait for me, we'll meet again. I have to rush back to a new training session.'. |

#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Horn plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Haycott has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Haycott stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Horn. A big right from Horn misses. Horn throws a half hearted mid kick. Horn throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Horn throws a nice inside leg kick. Sloppy strikes from Horn. Those never looked like landing. Despite the aggression on Haycott's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Horn throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Some wild striking there from Horn.
Haycott with the counter takedown but Horn avoids it easily. Horn throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Horn dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Horn misses with a jab, cross combination.
