Weidman tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Midas smiles and moves away.

#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ramrod leaves Midas with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Ramrod is defended easily by Midas. Midas shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ramrod.#CL# Midas closes the distance and clinches. Midas really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Midas lands a knee to the head.
Midas tries to land knees in the clinch but Ramrod avoids the damage to the body. Ramrod tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Bobby Midas has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Boby Ramrod. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Midas lands an elbow inside. Ramrod avoiding damage.

#TD# Ramrod gets caught napping as Midas dives in and scores a takedown. Ramrod manages to retain guard. Midas wanted to stand there but Ramrod had control of the position. Midas stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ramrod swivels though and keeps the full guard. Ramrod lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.#REVB# Midas wants to stand and escape but Ramrod is having none of it. #T4# Ramrod advances to half guard. Midas scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Ramrod manages to mount him!
#SUB2# Ramrod wants to finish this one by submission but Midas is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Ramrod. Ramrod won't let Midas get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Ramrod wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it. Midas trying desperately to get to his feet.

Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.#R2# Midas shoots in for a double leg but Ramrod sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Ramrod drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Midas defends it well.#TD# Ramrod gets caught flat footed, as Midas shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.#SUB2# Ramrod has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Midas doesn't defend quickly enough and Ramrod has managed to lock this one up! Can Midas escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Ramrod on a fantastic submission victory.

Boby Ramrod opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Midas is pushing I Swear up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. I Swear blocks a knee to the body. Midas tries to close the distance and clinch up but Switzer swats him away and circles back towards the center. Midas wants to clinch. The fighters circling - Switzer throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Midas lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. A big right from Switzer misses. Midas is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Switzer connects with the punch. Switzer thuds his right hand into Midas's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Switzer scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Midas doesn't seem bothered though. Midas bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Switzer throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
