Patricia Videira had a terrible time trying to make weight. After initially coming in at 175.9, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. Stepping on the scales for a second time, he still failed to make the required weight and after much deliberation, his fight with Phil Quincy was cancelled. |

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Videira changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Segura tries to avoid it but Videira manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Segura to the ground. Segura escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Segura bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Videira's head backwards.
Videira tries to score a power double leg takedown but Segura sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Videira somewhat.#TD#

Segura content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Videira has locked up a guillotine! Videira's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Segura is holding on here and Videira must be using up a lot of energy. Segura has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Videira gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
