That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Henderson tries to circle away but Guerra has him pinned against the cage. Henderson blocks the elbow strike.
#TD2# Guerra turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Guerra working away. A lull in the action here. You can see the frustration on Henderson's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Guerra scores with a couple of short elbows. Henderson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Guerra on the ground. Henderson tries to improve position but can't. Bell wants to sweep but no luck. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Guerra trying to control but Bell is working from the bottom. Vaughan looks to land a combination. Guerra sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Guerra tries to clinch up. Donk. Vaughan catches Guerra right on the button with a cross. Guerra misses the shot to the body. Donk. Vaughan catches Guerra right on the button with a cross. Guerra doesn't manage to clinch there - Vaughan circles away.
Vaughan tries a low kick but Guerra avoids it. Guerra shoots in for a double leg but Vaughan sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Vaughan lands a jab to the nose. Vaughan blocks a head kick by Guerra.
Vaughan scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Guerra checks a leg kick nicely. Guerra fails with the takedown and Guerra takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. A cross from Vaughan lands. Vaughan has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. David Clyne has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joana Guerra. Clyne is looking to clinch but Guerra is avoiding it.

#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway!#CL2# Simmeon moves into the clinch. Simmeon managing to block the knees to the body from Guerra.
Simmeon tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Guerra's elbow. Simmeon tries to work over Guerra's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Simmeon has a couple of punches blocked by Guerra.
Simmeon throws a head punch that misses. Simmeon misses with the head strike.
Guerra jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Simmeon walks away with a smile on his face. Guerra gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Simmeon throws a shot to the body.

Simmeon scores with a decent looking hook. Simmeon is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Guerra had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. Guerra walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Simmeon drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Guerra right on the button. Guerra goes down! Simmeon follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Simmeon gets the win via TKO!
