Costa has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Costa there as he acknowledges the shot.
Herandio misses the jab.
Costa has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
A looping hook to the body misses from Herandio. Costa does a little dance to reset his feet.
The fighters circling - Herandio throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

We've been told by Herandio's head coaches at Javi Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Karuso has hold of Herandio's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Herandio tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Karuso cranks the arm and Herandio screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Herandio, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
