Toan pushes Leonard off but Leonard dives into side control.
Toan is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Toan knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Leonard on the ground.
Toan trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

Leonard stands up and we're back to a striking position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Leonard not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Leonard stands and throws Toan's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Leonard throws a strike aimed at the side of Toan's head but Toan avoids it well.#T2##ES#
Toan bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
Leonard dives in and grabs Toan's left leg, looking for a takedown. Toan pushes down on Leonard's head and hops out.
Toan seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Leonard throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Leonard gets tackled into the cage by Toan. Toan maintains the clinch.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Leonard turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Leonard manages to end up in side control.

Leonard has hold of Toan's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Toan seems comfortable defending it but Leonard has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Toan is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Toan is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Leonard couldn't care less - he's delighted!
