#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway!#CL# Fighter rushes Nan and presses him up against the cage. Fighter lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Nan backwards. Fighter working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Fighter lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Fighter lands a body shot. Fighter makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Nan is looking to take this one to the mat. Fighter lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Nan backwards. #ROC#Nan is rocked!#CUT#It looks like Yu Nan has been cut. Fighter scores with a shot to the side of Nan's head. Nan is still on wobbly legs! Can Fighter finish him? Nan's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Nan tries to pull guard but Fighter won't allow it.
Nan tries to break free but Fighter pushes him back against the cage. Fighter keeps control of Nan as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Nan seems to have recovered his senses. Nan can't break the clinch.

Nan is trying to maintain a safe position but Fighter gets an underhook and turns Nan into the cage. Fighter lands with a left to the head. #T1# A short uppercut from Fighter. Fighter unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Nan! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Fighter is unloading with more strikes now! Nan drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!

#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nan steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Sapiyev. A telegraphed right hand from Sapiyev misses the target. Sapiyev throws a hook to the side of Nan's head but Nan sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Sapiyev fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Sapiyev closes the distance and lands a one-two.#CUT#It looks like Yu Nan has been cut. Nan takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. A telegraphed right hand from Sapiyev misses the target. Nan feints the counter takedown. Nice defenses there by Nan. Sapiyev misses with a looping right. Sapiyev misses with a hook. Nan ducked under it nicely. A slow jab from Nan misses its intended target. Sapiyev misses with an uppercut. Nan drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Sapiyev defends it well. Sapiyev fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Nan manages to avoid it. Sapiyev misses the jab. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Sapiyev scores with a one two! Nan had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Sapiyev throws a lazy uppercut
#TD2# and Nan counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Sapiyev! Sapiyev pushes Nan away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Nan gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.#T1# Sapiyev knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Nan on the ground. Nan trying to control the position but Sapiyev is working away. Nan is chipping away with strikes.
Sapiyev is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Nan lands some shots froms side control. Sapiyev is trying to buck Nan off. Nan is chipping away with strikes.
Sapiyev is trying to get back to his feet.#T2# Nan working the head and body with strikes. Nan tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Sapiyev is trying to get back to his feet.#SUB2# Nan is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Sapiyev looks calm but he's in trouble here. Nan gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Sapiyev is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Nan lets go of the hold and Sapiyev can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Yu Nan! In his post fight interview, Yu Nan started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception. |

#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nan ducks under a wild hook from Wallace. Wallace throws a leg kick #TD2# and Nan counters with a nice double leg into side control. Wallace won't be happy with that. Wallace bucks up and tries to throw Nan off but instead Nan has got his back! Nan controls the position. Nan loading up with punches from the back mount - how long can Wallace hold on?
Nan is not going to allow Wallace to sit and survive in this position. Wallace trying to get back to his feet but Nan is in full control for now. Nan lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Wallace.
Wallace knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Nan on the ground. Nan lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
#T1# Nan lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK. Wallace is covering up but some of the strikes from Nan are getting through and doing damage.
Nan tries to keep control of the position but Wallace is staying busy. Can Wallace hold on?! Nan is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.
Nan is punishing Wallace with strikes - can he finish him?!#ROC2#Wallace is rocked! Nan lands a good shot there. Wallace covers up! Nan smells blood and goes for the finish - the referee warns Wallace to improve his position but he's not intelligently defending himself and the referee has no choice but to step in and end the fight! Nan jumps to his feet and celebrates the important win with his cornermen!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Yu Nan! After the fight, Yu Nan was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly. |

#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway!#TD# Nan feints and as Mirfin raises his hands in defense, Nan changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Nan tries to free his leg and advance position but Mirfin is retaining full guard. Nan landing some decent shots from guard. Nan working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Mirfin trying to control the position.
Nan slips nicely into half guard. Mirfin is not content to let Nan control the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mirfin is looking to improve his position.
Nice strikes from Nan there. #SUB# Mirfin is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Nan has latched onto it... Big trouble! Nan pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Mirfin is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Nan!
