The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Riddler, as that shot connected.
A clash of legs there as Riddler blocks the low kick.
A slow jab from Riddler misses its intended target.
Kersikov feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Kersikov with the inside leg kick.
A looping hook to the body misses from Riddler. Kersikov does a little dance to reset his feet.
Kersikov throws a nice outside leg kick.
Boyka Kersikov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Riddler thows a left - swing and a miss!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Riddler is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Kersikov's half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Riddler tries to pass the half guard into mount. Kersikov knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Riddler is taking a breather. Kersikov says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Riddler looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Kersikov with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Riddler winds up and cracks Kersikov with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Well, if Riddler is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
