Man keeping moving, preventing Waar from controlling successfully. #SUB#
Man is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Waar defends well.#SUB#
Man is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Waar must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.#SUB#
Waar is sitting in close to Man's body. Man has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Waar is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Waar is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Man.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Alan Man!
A very excited looking Alan Man rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

Man manages to pull guard.
Mythos wants to control from the top but Man keeps moving.
Man is trying to keep Mythos in close.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Mythos working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.#SUB#
Man is looking for a triangle but Mythos pushes his legs off easily. #SUB#
Man is active off his back here, looking for submissions. #SUB#
Man looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening. #SUB2#
Mythos is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mythos makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.#SUB#
Mythos is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Man has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Mythos is looking to defend but Man has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Mythos! Man pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Mythos taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Alan Man!
Alan Man tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.

Champlain keeps the fight on the outside.
Champlain wants to counter with a clinch but Man pushes him away.
Champlain getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
A combination from Champlain does no damage.
Man takes one to the chin there.
Champlain lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Man fails with an attempt to clinch.
Man is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Man fails in his attempt to clinch.
Champlain throws out a counter right but Man avoids it with no problem.#CL#
Man fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Champlain, pushing him back against the cage.#TD#
Man drags the fight down to the ground.
Man looking for a sweep. Not yet Man, not yet.
Man manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Champlain manages to get himself to full guard. #REVR#
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Champlain can do anything to dispel that myth.#SUB#

Man has his foot on Champlain's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Champlain works his way back into a safe position though.

Alan Man decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
