Nan is looking to take this one to the mat.

Faz looks to land a body kick but Fighter moved away.
Fighter is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Faz misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.#CL2#
Fighter rushes Faz and presses him up against the cage.
A head punch on the inside from Fighter fails to land.
Fighter lands with a light punch inside.
Fighter gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Faz.
Fighter lands with a short punch from the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Faz looking to slow down the pace here.
Faz really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maniac fails with a takedown attempt. #TD2#
Maniac decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Maniac content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Maniac throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Maniac keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Fighter knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Maniac on the ground.
Let's hope that Maniac has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Maniac lands a nice short elbow.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Maniac closes the distance and clinches up with Fighter, looking for a takedown. Maniac pushes Fighter against the cage but Fighter circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Tourney Fighter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of El Maniac.

Maniac fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Fighter avoids it really well and circles away.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Maniac misses with a takedown attempt - Fighter sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Maniac shoots for a double leg takedown but Fighter sprawls well. He's pushed Maniac's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Fighter stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Fighter wants it to stay on the feet.
Fighter is looking to counter punch.

The Hunn tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Fighter manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
